The integration of pre-F2F learning at UON is key to a successful Learning Event. Students who have completed the pre-F2F tasks often gain more from the learning and discussions that take place during their F2F learning events as they have a greater understanding of the context, themes and ideas being taught. However, what happens if the students don’t complete their pre F2F learning tasks? How can this missed opportunity to share information be managed better? How can students be encouraged to complete their pre-F2F learning?
Last year, ‘UON science and D&T Podcasts’ were recorded by two colleagues in the Education Team and shared via Spotify and the UON’s NILE site for ITT1032 ‘The Developing teacher of science and Design and Technology’.
