Description
The Design and Business cross-faculty approach converges elements of research, business planning, experimentation, and prototyping. Collaborations, across a series of different aspects, over the last 3 years have resulted in using innovative techniques to tackle Sustainable Development Goals and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) issues. Our interdisciplinary team from the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL), and the Faculty of Art, Science and Technology (FAST) were able to incorporate entrepreneurship skills, marketing elements as well as a fusion of research methods (Qualitative including User Research with Focus Group and Quantitative Methods) from FBL as well as FAST’s extensive experience in Design Thinking, Rapid Ethnography (REAP), Prototyping and Data Visualisation to create an unique cross-faculty experience for both staff and students. The result has been that concepts have been moved to tangible solutions for research as well as student projects. Outcomes are collaborative research projects, app prototypes, proof of concepts and student interactions, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability as well as supporting aspiration, creating opportunities, and delivering impact.Period | 25 Jun 2024 → 26 Jun 2024 |
