This presentation considers why equality in our work is not optional, it is the right of every child and enshrined in law. The discussion will illustrate how different areas of inequality are connected and that a holistic approach in practice is important. The language of equality will be discussed and you will be supported how to examine and reflect on your own beliefs, including how unconscious bias can impact on your work with children and how you respond to others.
