The Health, Education and Behaviour Change (HEBC) Special Interest Group at The University of Northampton sits within the Centre for Psychological Sciences and draws upon cross-disciplinary expertise from researchers across UON Faculties. Members of HEBC work to understand behaviour change and address real world problems in health and education. The current symposium showcases the valuable work done by Changemakers within this research group who are conducting cutting-edge research in the area of behaviour change. The three symposium papers cover research concerning students empowering youth in Northampton (SEYN), the impact of teaching during the pandemic on teachers' emotional labour and youth subculture. Delegates will be able to discuss topics raised with speakers and consider knowledge contributions at the symposium.
