Description

In 2014 Double Elephant Print Workshop commissioned contemporary artists Clare Thornton, Mark Leahy, Katy Connor, Volkhardt Muller and Bryony Gillard to make new work in response to printmaking. Their work will be exhibited at Exeter Phoenix throughout November 2015. Alongside this a day-long symposium was convened to explore this project and the wider context. Speakers included Jo Stockham, Head of Printmaking Royal College of Art, John Phillips, Director of London Print Studio and the commissioned writer for “Redefining Print”, Carolyn Black of Flow Projects.
