The Fairmiles Initiative is an industry led effort to provide research and knowledge exchange support to commercial policy makers which helps ensure that their net zero policies are equitable, attain climate justice and are kind to the most vulnerable communities in the global supply chain. Dr Ebenezer Laryea was invited to the kick off meeting to share his research findings and expertise on the Climate Justice implications of a ban on airfreighted fresh produce. Dr Laryea's presentation was delivered to an international audience which included representatives from multinational businesses and organisations such as Air France, KLM, the Fresh Produce Consortium, the Overseas Development Institute, Aerospace Technology Institute, Flamingo Group International amongst others.
