Description
The 'Nourishing Connections Festival' builds on an existing collaboration, initiated by Northamptonshire Community Foundation (NCF) and Food4Heroes, with three local charities. The local charities are tackling diet-related inequality and promoting healthier lifestyles among 50 family service users. The festival event focused on building engagement with these families beyond the current food interventions charity work and research data collection strategies. In partnership with the University of Northampton (UON) through the Knowledge Exchange funds, it was possible to further engage these 50 families (and other community members) to support access to nutritious food information and facts for sustainable lifestyle changes. The festival activities adopted a holistic approach to health and well-being, addressing various factors that influence health living, such as food access and cultural attitudes, underpinning social determinants of health.| Period | 17 Apr 2025 |
