The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child launched in 1989 and is adopted by almost every nation. Yet 36 years later, the promise of rights for all children - especially the youngest - to protection, provision and participation remains unfulfilled. Professor Jane Murray asks: ‘What are the barriers? What can we do to reify our youngest children’s rights?’
