Description
This presentation provides an introduction to an ongoing research project into trainee teachers' knowledge, attitudes and confidence to teaching the statutory Relationships Education in primary schools. We discuss some of the background research, outline some of the work we have been doing with trainees to help prepare them for teaching RSE, and report on initial findings on their knowledge and confidence about delivering these topics in classrooms
