Description
This project is a mixed methods investigation into the perceived barriers to attainment and progression. Phase 1 will be phenomenological case study of the lived experiences of level 5 sport and exercise students. It would aim to understand the complexities of success in HE, far beyond entry qualifications, IMD and POLAR characteristics, to offer a first-hand account of student perceptions and interpretations of the barriers they face in progression, retention and completion on their programme. Using focus groups and interviews with students from a range of indices we offer a set of rich case studies exploring the interpretations of our students lived experiences and challenges.Period | 23 Jun 2022 |
