Description
This speech illustrates the study about the intersection of urban geopolitics, spatial statistics, tourism services, and spatial inequality in Tehran County. By employing a multidisciplinary approach, it investigates how geopolitical dynamics influence spatial distributions of tourism services and contribute to patterns of inequality across urban and suburban areas. Utilizing spatial statistical tools such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and advanced spatial econometrics, the research identifies key disparities in the provision and accessibility of tourism-related infrastructure.Tehran County, as a case study, highlights the socio-political and economic forces shaping urban space and tourism development. The analysis reveals how geopolitical factors, such as urban planning policies and strategic investments, reinforce or mitigate spatial inequalities. Moreover, the study offers insights into the implications of these patterns for sustainable tourism and equitable urban development. Findings underscore the need for inclusive policy frameworks that integrate tourism with broader urban strategies to address inequality and enhance socio-economic cohesion.
