Description
This data set contains data from a 6-week training study that examined the effects of simultaneous isometric handgrip exercise and stair ascent or descent on metrics of cardiovascular and muscular health. data were collected pre- and post-intervention on 4 groups: isometric hand grip and stair ascent, isometric handgrip and stair descent, isometric handgrip, and passive control group. Each individual sheet within this file contains data organised by sub-sets e.g. cardiovascular (CV), maximum voluntary isometric contraction of te quadriceps (MVIC), ultrasound (US), mean weekly rate of perceived exertion during training (RPE), mean weekly heart rate during training (HR).
