Description
These datasets consist of Algerians' opinions regrading the use of Facebook and LinkedIn, the use of different languages - standard/classical Arabic, French, English, Algerian dialect - and the relationship of language to identity. These data were collected though online focus groups interviews (on Facebook chat rooms) and discussions (on a LinkedIn discussion group I created). A snowball sampling consisting of 24 participants was obtained, involving Algerian PhD students, masters, teachers in middle and secondary schools, professionals, and academics.
