Biography

Andrea Piroddi is a lecturer in Telecommunications Networks with extensive experience in both academia and industry. He teaches networking-related courses at the University of Bologna and Roma Tre University, with a focus on wireless communications, network architectures, and applied machine learning.

Prior to his academic career, he spent over 25 years in the telecommunications industry, primarily within Vodafone Group, working on network design, optimization, and innovation.

He is currently pursuing a PhD by Published Work in Computing at the University of Northampton, focusing on the integration of machine learning techniques into wireless communication systems. His work aims to bridge theoretical research and practical applications in next-generation networks.

His research focuses on extracting semantic and spatial information from wireless signals using data-driven approaches.
