Dr Torres Perez received his MSc in Electrical Engineering and a MPhil (DEA) in power electronics from the University of Oviedo in 2005 and 2007 respectively. He obtained the PhD in Condition Monitoring and Tribology in December 2011. Before joining the University of Northampton in September 2012, he was working as a Senior Electronics Engineer for Microgen Engine Corporation Holding BV in Peterborough.
Power electronics, embedded systems, programmable logic design, modelling of electromechanical systems, vibration analysis, lubricant analysis.
