Biography

Carey attained her MSc in the Teaching of Psychology from Glyndwr University, and her BSc in Psychology from the Open University. She is currently undertaking her PhD with the University of Northampton. Carey is employed as a Psychology Lecturer and before this was a Graduate Teaching Assistant and prior to this was an Asssociate Lecturer in Psychology at the university.

Carey has a long standing interest in Positive Psychology and also in Neuropsychology,  this has resulted in her PhD research which is looking at "The effect of Sound Baths on Stress and Well-being".

Carey is a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society and also posseses a PGCE (Life Long Learning Sector).

 

Research Interests

Carey's research interests lie in Positive Psychology and Neuropsychology, with a specific focus on the impact of Sound Baths on stress and well-being. Her work aims to explore innovative methods for enhancing psychological well-being and managing stress.
