Worked in industry (NPC), Research Associations (PRA and BNF) and Academia (Trent Polytechnic,Nottingham University and North Dakota Sate university ) before joining University of Northampton on the permanent staff in 1999

Research Interests
- Over 70 publications mainly in the field of Coatings/Corrosion protection. Co-edited 2 books. Co-Organised several conferences in the field
- Research at University of Northampton on Corrosion & Coating. Presentation of papers at Symposiums & Conferences (world-wide). Special area: Interpretation of electrochemical response of coating on metals using techniques like AC Impedance(EIS) & Electrochemical Noise method (ENM).
- PhD completion and MPhil completion under his supervision
- TCS Scheme Pronto Paints successfully completed
- Involved in Erasmus-Socrates Exchange scheme with Technical University of Gdansk (inc. running research project in collaboration with industrial company)
