Biography

Dr Emmanuel Terngu Vanger holds a BSc Degree in Political Science, MSc and PhD Degrees in Development Studies with over 14years of cognate professional and academic experience in teaching, research and practice. He has great competence in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation (M & E), (In)Security, Climate-related Human (Im)mobility, Humanitarian Emergency Crisis Response and Management, Relief Funding, and Sustainability. Before joining the University of Northampton where he currently works as a Senior Lecturer in Project Management in the Department of Business Systems and Operations in the Faculty of Business and Law, he was a member of Faculty in the Department of Business Administration at the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University (formerly, Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi-Nigeria).

 

Research Interests

He works in the area of (In)Security, Climate-related Human (Im)mobility, Humanitarian Emergency Crisis Response and Management, Relief Funding, Waste Management, and Sustainability. His recent interest is on the intersection of institutional regimes and political patronage in the resettlement processes of forcibly displaced persons in Africa and the nexus of relief fund interventions and research agenda priorities in Africa.
