Biography

Fiona Barchard is a Senior lecturer in Adult Nursing and Curriculum / Programme leader. She commenced work at the University of Northampton in 2006 and teaches across pre-registration and Post registration nursing from level 4 to level 7. The subjects she teaches include pathophysiology, recognition of the deteriorating patient, leadership, reflection and complex care. She was awarded her PGCTHE in 2008 and was also awarded a teaching fellowship by the University. In 2011 she commenced her Professional Doctorate and was awarded her Thesis post a successful viva. Prior to joining the University she studied for a Degree in Health care studies and a Masters in Clinical Leadership.
