Biography
James Mason teaches on BA Physical Education and Sport (Hons) at the University of Northampton, specialising in Sport Sociology and Sports Development. James graduated from the Solent University in 2012 with an undergraduate degree in Sport Studies and Business and a masters in Sports Development in 2014.

Research Interests
James’ main research interests lie within the area of sport and social entrepreneurship. James is passionate about advancing the critical sociology of sport and to apply its tenets to the field of sports development. James also specialises in realist evaluation and has been involved in a number of successful internal and external bids which have evaluated a range of social programmes.
