Frontend Web Development & Design, Business Intelligence & Data Visualisation, Research Methods.


Liz has published across a broad range of topics including Art-based Games, Locative Media and Animation History. She has exhibited internationally and secured artist residencies and major commissions and project grants in France, Australia, UK and the USA.

She has held academic positions in both the UK and Australia in Computing, Visual Arts, and Media & Communications. Previous to her appointment at the University of Northampton (2016) she coordinated the Digital Incubator at Robert Gordon University and before that was the Web Development course leader in Computing at the University of Worcester. While at Worcester, she founded the WBS Media Lab, the first income generating student-led agency/enterprise at the university. Over 20 students at the Media Lab were employed to work on mobile software applications and large-scale public sector web development projects as part of their learning experience.

Current research interests include; User Experience Design (UxD), Neuroaesthetics, Cognitive Creativity and Empathic Computing in Mixed Reality Environments.
