Personal profile


Dr Luai Jraisat is a Senior Lecturer of Logistics and Operation Management at Faculty of Business and Law (FBL), University of Northampton, UK.  Luai received his Ph.D. degree in Supply Chain Management from Brunel University-London, UK, hold M.Sc degree in Marketing from the University of Huddersffield, UK. 

Luai’s focus is to provide high quality teaching and develop research group and publications. He teaches both UG and PG levels, in addition to supervision of MSc, DBA and PhD projects. He has published more than 30 research works including top journals, conferences, professional reports and books. His key publications have appeared in a variety of journals (some ranked 3* ABS) including International Marketing Review, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Disaster Prevention and Management: An International Journal, International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management, Tourism Review, etc.. Further to this, he worked with project teams and consultancy works to implement best practices across more than 10 countries including UK, France, Italy, Greece, Belgium, Germany, Netherland, Tunisia, Gulf Countries and Jordan. He took part as a senior expert in international funded projects on Supply Chain Management (SCM), Value Chain Analysis (VCA), Marketing, Logistics, Sustainability and Food Markets. Those projects were funded by European Union (EU), World Bank (WB) United Nations (UN), USAID, FAO, GIZ, ICARDA, IFAD, ICARDA, CBI, CHIEAM-IAMM-France, CIHEAM-MAIB-Italy, Soges S.p.A-Italy, Planet-Greece, British Standards Institution (BSI) and other bodies.

  • A member at the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), UK.
