Biography

Senior lecturer in Education, Early Years at the University of Northampton. Professional interests in early years education include:  Creativity, critical thinking and the arts, children’s literature, media and culture, as well as the influences and implications of mobile and digital technology for children.

Specialised in the field of early years as a nursery manager, an Early Years teacher and as a lecturer in a college. Now the Programme Lead for the Early Years Initial Teacher Training, alongside teaching on the BA and MA Early Years.

My work as the Programme Lead for EYTs provides an interest in researching trainee's aspirations, change management, transitions and employability. This forms part of my daily work within this area.
