Biography

Following 17 years of NHS experience in the At Risk limb and several multidiciplinary foot health teams I was a Senior Lecturer in orthopaedics, anatomy and clinical skills at Birmingham School of Podiatry. Moving to TUoN in 2003 I entered a Senior lecturer post teaching Podiatric Medicine / anatomy / and clinical skills.

I was involved in the "Health in Diabetes" Research Project for BUPA and helped introduce monofilaments and ran educational sessions for physicians in the Midlands. I have spoken on peripheral vascular disease and the use of aircast immobilisation system at UK diabetic conferences.

Research Interests

The Diabetic Foot, Ultrasonography, Podiatric Medicine.
