Biography

Qi Ai (PhD) is a senior lecturer in strategic management at the Faculty of Business and Law, University of Northampton, UK. He received his PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London. His research interests lie in mergers and acquisitions and the development of emerging market corporations (EMNCs). His current research focuses on post-acquisition integration and knowledge transfer in EMNCs’ international acquisitions. His research has been published in journals such as Journal of World Business, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Development and Change, among others.

 

Dr Ai is a Senior Editor of Management and Organization Review (MOR) and won the Best Senior Editor Award for MOR in August 2022. He also serves on the editorial board of Strategic Change.

Internationalization of Chinese firms;

Multinational corporations in emerging markets-strategy, capabilities, and impact.
