Biography

Rosalie Tshimanga is a Lecturer in Business Management at the University of Northampton, where she also serves as Course Leader for the BA Business Management programme and as Executive MBA Supervisor. She is an accomplished academic and practitioner with extensive experience across IT, banking, artificial intelligence, and higher education.
 
Her career reflects a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and impact. She has successfully managed high-profile projects with Network Rail, developing the next generation of training solutions, and led the design of BSc courses in Smart Cities Technology at MK: U to ensure academic programmes remain relevant to evolving industry needs. As Projects Manager in finance, she oversaw initiatives that enhanced customer experience through technology-driven solutions. Within the public sector, she has also managed major projects introducing artificial intelligence and digital assistance across health, education, and government services, helping to drive efficiency, accessibility, and meaningful change.
 
Her global outlook further distinguishes Rosalie’s academic and professional journey. While at the University of Northampton, she interned and completed an international placement year in Nakuru, Kenya, where she provided mentorship and strategic guidance to entrepreneurs, supporting sustainable business operations and growth. Her leadership and advisory skills were quickly recognised, leading to her recruitment as a business advisor in the region. She also participated in the New York Study Tour in 2015 and 2016, engaging with a wide range of organisations to gain valuable insights into corporate objectives, operational strategies, and international business dynamics.
 
A highly driven and accomplished academic, Rosalie specialises in Information Systems, with expertise in systems development, business intelligence, process optimisation, system analysis, and business change management. Her background spans engineering contexts, project management, and higher education, where she remains deeply committed to teaching excellence, impactful research, and knowledge transfer.
