Personal profile

Biography

I am a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Law. Now part-time I focus on research collaborations with colleagues in Central Asia and on funded project work in that region. My work there has been on projects funded by Erasmus and the British Council. I have recently published in the field of post-Covid tourism in Central Asia with colleagues from Kazakhstan and Italy.

I am an active member of the Regional Studies Women’s Group and of both the Gender Special Interest Group and the Methodology Special Interest Group of the British Academy of Management.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and also a Fellow of the Scottish Society of Antiquaries.
