Biography

Sarah Wickes is a Senior Lecturer, she commenced work at the University of Northampton in 2016 and teaches primarily on the pre-registration nursing BSc. Sarah is Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Mental Health Nurse and has a Recorded Qualification of Teacher. She was awarded Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowship in 2021. Prior to joining the University, she studied for a Masters in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH); the dissertation was a primary research study. Secondary school students and bullying; a Q-sort study with two elements: “What Young People thought bullying was” and “What they thought should be done about it”. Current PhD student.
