Biography

I am a Lecturer in Midwifery and Baby Friendly Initiative Lead at The University of Northampton. A registered midwife and specialist community public health nurse (health visitor) with over 25 years of clinical experience in both community and acute settings and a Professional Midwifery/Nurse Advocate.
My research interests are in Higher Education and compassionate pedagogy, student experience, infant and family mental health and well-being. I am currently a postgraduate researcher exploring compassion in midwifery education.
