Biography
Dr. Zhimin He is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (C.Psychol) and a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Course Lead for the MSc Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) at the University of Northampton. Her academic background is in Psychology and Behavioural Neuroscience, with research and teaching experience across several leading UK universities.
Before joining the University of Northampton in 2023, Dr He held academic and research positions at the University of Nottingham, Warwick Medical School (University of Warwick), King’s College London – Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, and Aberystwyth University.
Research Interests
Her work focuses on mental health, behavioural neuroscience, and digital or innovative approaches to psychological intervention, particularly in relation to children, adolescents, and families. She is passionate about developing applied teaching, research-led education, and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve understanding and support for mental health and wellbeing.
Research interests: Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Behavioural Neuroscience, Digital Mental Health, Psychological Interventions, and Wellbeing.
