Running from 2017-2020 the Knowledge Transfer Partnership between the University of Northampton and Lightpoint Medical was to embed user requirements into the development of novel imaging devices, and to enhance their translation into both a pre-clinical and clinical environment including cancer treatment. Following the conclusion of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Lightpoint Medical Ltd. (KTP010795) with a Final Report, Innovate UK has awarded this KTP the highest grade, i.e. ‘Outstanding’. The Lightpoint KTP will be added to Innovate UK's short list from which future KTP Case Studies will be developed.
