Description
The Knowledge Transfer Partnership will focus on developing a uniquely Scottish tannage for leather from waste materials. The project will involve identification of locally sourced and naturally occurring chemical resources for use within the leather manufacturing and their implementation at key stages of the leather manufacturing process, particularly in tanning and post-tanning.
