Description

Host a creative collaborative workshop exploring best practice in History placement and work-based learning experiences. This event aims to address interest in this developing pedagogic area, both provide guidance and an opportunity to learn one another’s experiences. Core questions could include: How can History departments (and our cognate disciplines) response to this? How can we support students with additional learning needs, and broaden participation? What can we learn from other disciplines or does History and Public Health placements and WBL present specific considerations or challenges? What best practice strategies or policies need to be in place to assist with student have a meaningful experience of WBL?
