Evaluating efforts to decolonise the curriculum – exploring the experiences of staff and students at UoN

Project Details

Description

An increasing amount of research exploring our education provision, from primary through to higher education, has explored the need to decolonise the curriculum. Important projects such as ‘why is my curriculum white?’ have provided a basis for further research to now start evaluating efforts that are being made across the sector. This current project aims to evaluate UoN’s efforts towards decolonising the curriculum, through exploring both staff and student experiences of being involved in such efforts. Interviews will be conducted after the Spring 2021 term in order to find out what has been working, and where our focus should be moving forward.
