Project Details

Description

Academic studies on ethnic differences in UK HE has been persistent over the years with magnitude, varying across institutions. Some studies suggest it could be the result from teaching and assessment practices while others claim that under-representation of ethnic minority students have implications for their ability to adapt to different teaching and learning styles. Studies have considered how academic misconduct experiences of GEM students influences their behaviour and attainment. Drawing from the critical race theory, this study will use mixed-method approach to understand the rationale behind students’ behaviours towards academic misconduct with the view to preventing them from future violations.
