Description
An Erasmus+ funded project developing innovative tools to raise knowledge and understanding regarding waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), in Brazil and Nicaragua.
This goal will be achieved by developing demand driven educational products for use in CPD and academic education in the area of e-waste management supported by respective educational tools adapted to the special demand in Nicaragua and Brazil. Furthermore, the structuring and establishment of a university-business collaboration and trainings center in both partner countries will add an official and sustainable frame for the training and the collaboration.
The overarching aims of the project are to promote the take-up of practical entrepreneurial experiences in education and training of Universities and Trainings Organizations in Brazil and Nicaragua in the area of e-waste management support HEIs in Brazil and Nicaragua to modernize and internationalize the academic and non-academic training of engineers and technicians by establishing an education concept for e-waste management improve the level of competences and skills in HEIs by developing innovative educational programs improve the quality of higher education and significantly enhance its relevance for the labor market and society connect the academic world and the industry in the area of e-waste management between Brazil and Nicaragua as well as the EU.'
