NHS England Workforce, Training and Education Interprofessional Experience (IPEX)

NHS England are undertaking work to improve interprofessional working in maternity and neonatal services, supporting recommendations made by Dr Bill Kirkup in the 'Reading the Signals' report of the independent investigation of maternity services at East Kent. As part of this work, NHS England have had approval to launch an Interprofessional Experience (IPEX) Innovation Fund. This work will provide grants to support projects aimed at improving interprofessional learning opportunities for learners in the maternity and neonatal space. The initial focus of the work is on pre-registration and undergraduate learners, with the intention to roll out to wider teams as part of future iterations.
