Description
Northampton Community Foundation, inspired by the history of Northampton Saints, promotes the values of sport to inspire, support and educate children, young people and communities. This is achieved by: promoting heritage to INSPIRE work, preserve the past and protect the future, SUPPORTING disengaged, disadvantaged people to achieve positive outcomes, and delivering programmes to EDUCATE people in the community to enable the development of social, emotional and academic progress. Northampton Saints Foundation is financially independent from the Club, operating with support from volunteer and donations. The Foundation’s work is centred on supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, especially those at risk of offending. Their turnover is £1.5m, they have around 40 staff and support approx. 7,000 young people per year. This evaluation examines the social impact of Northampton Saints Foundations.
