PHASE 2: Beyond the ‘usual suspects’: Exploring the adoption of ‘good practice’ recommendations for closing the GEM attainment and continuation gaps at UoN

Project Details

Description

The Beyond the Usual Suspects project focused on staff adoption and departmental take-up of ‘good practice’ recommendations for closing GEM attainment and continuation gaps at UoN, as well as barriers and challenges in the uptake of ‘good practice’ recommendations. Phase 1 of the project involved a survey of all staff, to give a broader understanding of the level of uptake and the challenges/barriers. Phase 2 (which is the purpose of this bid) will extend and deepen the level of understanding of the issues raised by the questionnaire through focus groups with staff to understand why barriers exist and how they can be overcome.
