Description
Since Generative AI (GenAI) effectively ‘burst’ onto the scene in 2023 with the launch of ChatGPT3, HEIs globally have been struggling to create effective policies and procedures to govern if, and how, students are allowed to use GenAI. The speed of development of GenAI means that policies developed for GPT3 are redundant for GPT4.0
REGAIN (Regulating the Ethical use of Generative Artificial Intelligence at Northampton) will build on the approach taken by UNPAC and create a software system which allows students to develop their skills in using all types of GenAI in an appropriate and ethical fashion.
