Project Vigilant Stops: An Analysis of Body Worn Video and Intelligence Collection

Project Details

Description

The current proposal sets out a research and knowledge exchange package to support Project Vigilant in the detection, disruption and proactive responses to sexually predatory behaviour within the night-time economy (NTE). With support of Home Office funding, the research team proposes three work packages, namely, (i) analysis of BWV via ORBIT coding framework; (ii) officer knowledge exchange on interpersonal skills; (iii) analysis of the intelligence submissions. The results and insights of work package one will be used to inform work package 2, therefore exchanging knowledge from the officers’ positive interactions to the officers in this cohort.
