Project Details
Description
Professional Standards require interprofessional education (IPE) to be embedded in undergraduate healthcare students’ curricula to develop the required knowledge, skills and attitudes to make a positive contribution to the interprofessional workforce and improve service user outcomes and satisfaction.
IPE is sometimes perceived as an additional ‘learning burden’ and so this initiative aims to recruit Student IPE Champions to support and motivate their peers to engage with the IPE Collaborative Curriculum.
Student IPE Champions will work collaboratively with the IPE Lead within and across courses as IPE advocates – promoting and co-delivering elements of the Faculty IPE Collaborative Curriculum.
