    Project Details

    Description

This project delivers innovative simulation development workshops as CPD opportunities for external providers across healthcare, education, and corporate sectors. Grounded in current research and aligned with UK ASPiH standards, the workshops focus on simulation-based learning, scenario design, and debriefing techniques. Led by the University of Northampton’s academic simulation lead, the initiative supports evidence-based practice, fosters psychologically safe learning environments, and offers consultancy for simulation project development.

    Layman's description

This project offers practical training workshops that help professionals—from hospitals to universities and even businesses—learn how to use simulation to improve learning, teamwork, and safety. Simulation is a powerful tool that uses realistic scenarios to prepare people for real-life situations.
Participants learn how to design these scenarios and guide teams through them effectively, using proven techniques and national standards. The workshops are led by experts from the University of Northampton and have already helped organisations like the ambulance service improve their training.
By sharing this expertise more widely, we’re helping others create better, safer learning environments—and opening up new opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
