Description
This award is to enable to purchase of equipment that will enhance regional capacity for advanced imaging and allow the establishment of the Northampton Advanced Imaging Facility (NAIF).
NAIF will unite new and existing equipment in the same physical space allowing for streamlined and cost-efficient management as a commercially viable core facility that will:
• Serve a wide multidisciplinary user base
• Heavily engage in knowledge exhange and enterprise activities with external partners in line with RIF priorities
• Significantly level-up our post-92 research environment and plug an accessibility gap in the national research landscape furthering regional economic growth and productivity
