Abstract
The paper analyses international research results which were conducted within the framework of art therapy intervention oriented on adolescence. Using particular researches the authors describe the possibilities and limits of art therapy interventions during the life journey of adolescents, specifically in the areas of resilience, sociability, disability and difficult life situations. It is in the period of adolescence that it is typical for people to happen to be in difficult life
situations, and one of the ways of helping them is through establishing contacts and relationships not only between the therapists and clients
but also within group relationships and interaction, needed for full autonomous life of clients. The paper is a partial output of the project KEGA 069/UK-4/2015 Supporting social adaptation of adolescents with disabilities through group oriented art therapy.
