Abstract

A machine-to-machine communication system (M2M) denotes the communications technologies between devices which work autonomously without the interaction of humans during the operation phase. M2M systems have a wide range of applications especially in smart cities and the Internet of Things (IoT). The research project employs the Weightless-SIG M2M technology in wide range ultra-narrow band frequency. The research focuses on the scheduling process and data collision problem caused by using random frequency hopping technique in Weightless technology.
