Abstract

The Early Start Charnwood Programme (ESCP) aims to provide intensive early intervention for vulnerable first time parents with an infant 0-2 years living in a district of north Leicestershire. Researchers at the University of Northampton (TUoN) were commissioned to undertake an evaluation of the ESCP. This report provides a synthesis of researchers’ findings. The key strengths and opportunities to further develop the programme are identified and recommendations presented.
