Essex Community Sentence Treatment Requirement Multisite Report July 2020 – January 2021

This report presents analysis from the Community Sentence Treatment Requirement Multisite Evaluation, completed by the Institute for Public Safety, Crime and Justice. Data were provided from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Staffordshire. This report relates to the period of July 2020 to January 2021, with data being provided for 198 cases, including 22 cases from Essex. 45 historical cases are also considered throughout the report. The Essex sample did not include many assessments after July 2020 and therefore should be considered incomplete. The aim of the report is to provide a high-level overview across the participating sites, to complement local reports provided to each local CSTR programme Board to support local programme development, evidence and understanding of identified patterns across the wider dataset.
