Evaluation of programmes in psychomotor therapy

Abstract

The paper presents results of a research focused on the analysis of programmes in psychomotor therapy in therapeutic education. Psychomotor therapy belongs to expressive art therapies. It uses artistic movement expression in the work with clients. The authors realized an evaluation of programmes in psychomotor therapy from the perspective of the components of psychomotor: neuromotor, sensory-motor, psychomotor and social-motor. The results point out differences between particular programmes depending on the focus on educational or therapeutic aspect, on the biodromal perspective and on the topic or issues of the group.
