Abstract

It is unusual to find courses in meteorology for adult learners. This paper explores aspects ōf three Workers Education Association courses in meteorology. Topics and treatments are evaluated with reference to formal and informal evaluation provided by the learners. It is concluded that weather and climate make a fascinating subject for postcompulsory students and this has been enhanced by the increasing availability of visually striking web resources.
